Welcome to my dancing blog!

Since I want to start dancing a bit more, I thought I'd start a blog to post my thoughts. I teach at The Ballroom of Sacramento and Sac Ballroom Society from time to time and am available for private lessons. More later--I need to get to bed!

Who am I?

My name is Jennifer Walker, and I am a ballroom dance instructor at The Ballroom of Sacramento. I teach beginning and intermediate dancers American Style Smooth and Rhythm dances, although I dance International as well. I perform with Dancing on a Heartstring at various places in the Sacramento area. I also love to dance West Coast Swing, and I'm completely obsessed with Argentine Tango.

I have been dancing since 1995 and teaching since 2001. Over the years, I have studied under several local instructors and had coaching with people like Victor Verasset, Heather Smith, Stephen Cullip, Ron Montez, Bob Powers, Ava Kaye and Tytus Bergstrom.

I am available for group and private lessons, workshops, wedding dance lessons, exhibitions and ballroom DJing. New student special: just $79 for two private lessons and two passes to a Friday or Saturday night dance at The Ballroom! Beginning lessons for new students only, available for a limited time.
